The trio's inaugural concert at the Bartok Béla Memorial House in Budapest, led to an immediate invitation to return the following season, as well as an offer to record a disc of chamber music for Hungaroton Records with clarinetist László Horváth. In 2009 Trio Dumas was awarded the Sándor Veress prize.
